Regenerative Matrix Therapy™ — a next-generation, non-surgical option for joint degeneration and osteoarthritis, using the biologic potential of your own body.
WHAT IS REGENERATIVE MATRIX THERAPY™?
Regenerative Matrix Therapy™ is a minimally invasive, biologic procedure offered at KOPI through our partnership with the Regenerative Medicine Institute of Canada (RMIC).

It uses a small sample of your own adipose (fat) tissue, which is purified and prepared, then re-injected with precision into the area of concern. The goal is to help create a healthier local environment that can reduce pain, improve function, and support natural joint health.

RMIC’s protocol has been reviewed by Health Canada with no objection, and is delivered through RMIC’s national network of affiliated clinics — including KOPI.
HOW CAN IT HELP ME?
Many patients feel stuck between short-term symptom relief and “waiting until surgery.” Regenerative Matrix Therapy™ may be considered when you want a more proactive, evidence-informed path — especially when pain and stiffness are starting to limit the life you want to live.

Regenerative Matrix Therapy™ is most commonly explored for osteoarthritis and joint degeneration, and may also be considered for select persistent musculoskeletal conditions depending on diagnosis and imaging.

Because every case is different, candidacy is determined through a thorough clinical assessment and review of imaging (X-ray/MRI when appropriate).
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

Regenerative Matrix Therapy™ is designed to support meaningful, durable improvement rather than quick, temporary masking of symptoms.

Potential benefits may include:
• Reduced pain and inflammation
• Improved function and mobility
• Greater confidence with daily activities and sport
• Support for long-term joint health — with the potential to slow, and in some cases meaningfully reverse, aspects of degeneration
• A minimally invasive approach for patients hoping to avoid or delay surgery

HOW IS REGENERATIVE MATRIX THERAPY™ PERFORMED?
The procedure is performed in clinic by a trained physician using the standardized RMIC protocol.

In general, the process includes:
1. A small adipose tissue harvest (typically from the abdomen or flank) using local anesthetic
2. Purification and preparation of the adipose tissue through RMIC’s proprietary Precision Adipose Modulation™ process
3. Image-guided injection to precisely target the joint or area being treated
4. Recovery guidance and follow-up, with a plan tailored to your goals and function
Many patients experience improvement gradually over time, with effects lasting up to 4 years.
